Winner from Florida wins grand prize for Eggo Your Way Contest
BATTLE CREEK, Mich., July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Kellogg’s Eggo™ today announced the winning recipe in the 2014 Eggo Your Way contest, the “Cheesy Chicken Eggo-dillas.” Debbie Reid from Clearwater, Florida, created the dish by transforming Eggo waffles into a tasty tortilla, giving quesadillas a whole new look and winning the grand prize of $10,000 for being the most liked and delicious waffle-based recipe.

The Eggo Your Way contest invited waffle fans and families to get crafty in the kitchen and create recipes that showed how they enjoy waffle-izing any meal of the day and to submit their out-of-the-box ideas on the Eggo Facebook page. In addition to the grand prize winner, two finalists each received $2,500, and four weekly winners receive a year’s supply of Eggo waffles. Those winners include:

- Finalist: Sarah Leonard of Fredericksburg, VA – Eggo Waffle Blossoms
